As time
has passed we've kept pace, vinyl cutting systems replacing some
of our sign writing skills and now the new age of digital printing we are keeping pace with the ever changing needs of our clients to meet
tighter deadlines maintain design continuity and most importantly be
more creative...
This new
technology is perfect for motor sport racing teams
soon realizing its potential for putting their sponsors logos and designs onto
racing cars and support vehicles.

Gareth produced this visual along with all the plot files ready for vinyl cutting, a black outline was applied first in vertical strips like wallpaper made up of 17 tiled strips with a 5mm overlap then later cutting the infill colours and 3D logos to be applied as separate pieces.

Vehicle
livery is outdoor advertising on the move, creating first impressions
that last indoors or out. digital printing is the Ideal way of producing
colourful vehicle graphics and signs that will last...

In
1990/91 the Lotus graphics Gareth created for the Lotus type 102B from a black pen outline drawing
of the car Gareth scanned into the computer for editing in outline
form.

G then digitally added the 3D logos ready for vinyl cutting. This was
serious computer graphics in 1990, all the graphics had to be produced
of site as the F1 car transporters was only available for one day, sign
writing would have tied the vehicle up for days.
