We lost out on a potential payout of £400,000 on our endowment which is four times approx borrowed on our third mortage setup by Mr Didora in 1991. It was a similar case on other endowments by various other Company sales staff all saying they could all grow by as much as four or five times the borrowed amount but this could'nt be further from the truth as they all ended up with shortfalls and the main policy through Mr. Didora had a £25,000 shortfall so would not even cover the £90,000 mortage so we had to use our own savings to cover this shortfall as well as very poor crowth on my personnel pensions I also took out with Mr Didora.
Invest in a personnel pension was the governments advise, save for your old age.?
Work hard and do the right think as advised by all governments?
It seems the financial services work hard at get hold of your money but not hard at doing the right think when it comes to your pensions growth.
I handed over a cheque for £5,000 to Mr. Didora in November 1998 then for an unexplained delay received my Pension policy details on the 4th of February 1999.file:///C:/super-graphics.co.uk
I sent details to Mr. E. Didora on the 5th March 2015 asking for an explanation why the policy he had sold me had performed so badly over 15 years but all I got were excuses stating that this was the time when he left HIA Ltd and ceased to be my advisor, he also added that he had no authority to receive information.
The ‘HIA Ltd’ Mr. Didora refers to relates to the full name for “Heartland Independent Advisors Ltd” who as far as I know had offices in Birmingham but I cannot find any current information on the web as Mr Didora has informed me they ceased trading in 1999 shortly after I took out the policy with him.
